Sharon Jennings has written over 60 books for young people, including some in the world-famous Franklin the Turtle series. Her books have received many nominations and awards, including a Governor General’s Award nomination and a TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award nomination for Home Free, and the OLA’s Blue Spruce Award for The Bye-Bye Pie. She has taught writing for young people to adults, and toured the country visiting schools and libraries to talk to young people about her books. Sharon continues to write and edit from her home in Toronto.
